Danielle L.: Croatia & Montenegro, Honeymoon

“Hannah was so helpful when booking! She got us all the room prices to compare and even last minute changed our reservation to a new room that we requested. She truly made our stay extra special! She contacted the hotel to see if we could get an upgrade and we got one! We also had a welcome bottle of wine and honeymoon dessert with a lovely note from Hannah when we arrived! It was a nice surprise for our first stop on our honeymoon!”

    Nick J: Hawaii, Honeymoon

“Hannah was great to work with!!! She was thoughtful throughout the planning process! She is responsive and made me feel very comfortable and confident for our vacation!”

    Sarah, Japan, Family Trip

Hannah planned the perfect two-week family trip to Japan, thoughtfully tailoring every detail to our family’s diverse interests. She took the time to really understand what each of us would enjoy, and her research led us to incredible experiences like an immersive museum, a monkey sanctuary, and even a hands-on samurai experience. Even while being mindful of our budget, she managed to pack the trip with unforgettable moments that kept everyone engaged. The easy-to-follow itinerary she created became our go-to guide and made navigating a new country feel effortless. What started as a trip we were a little nervous about became the adventure of a lifetime, thanks to Hannah’s care, insight, and expertise

Daniel W.: Italy & Croatia, Honeymoon

“Hannah’s help with our travel to and within Hvar was incredible, particularly guidance with their ferry system. The restaurant recommendations/reservations she made for us were incredible and allowed us to enjoy Croatian food at its finest. Hvar was the highlight of our honeymoon and we owe it all to Hannah.”

Clelia, Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, Couples Travel

My husband and I have planned 95% of our own travel in the past.  When we recently learned there are places designated as “Dark Sky Parks” and “Dark Sky Sanctuaries” I got very excited about that possibility.  I long to see a “gazillion” stars the way I saw them in my youth!  It was a little more intimidating to do our own planning from scratch this time because the area we thought of visiting seemed very remote.  At our age we think not only of safety but also of some comfort. 😉 So we asked Hannah to help us, and she did a great job! We used her “Hourly Services”.  We filled out a questionnaire about what we were looking for, then we met and talked about it a bit more.  Within a few days she had some suggestions for us.  She even called a lodging place to get more details and passed that information on to us.  After that we did our own booking and we plan to make it a road trip.    The only thing that could go wrong is to have cloudy nights that hide the star-filled sky we hope to experience.  But that is beyond Hannah’s control!!

    Nathan G.: Portugal, Couples Travel

“Hannah did great research to help us find this venue and many others — and trust me, we will remember it for our entire lives! Hannah is a great communicator and really efficiently presented this option as well as others to make sure we had a spectacular experience! Do not miss a chance to work with her! You won’t regret it!”

    Sarah K: Hawaii, Family Trip

Hannah’s exceptional communication and meticulous attention to detail made planning our family vacation an absolute delight. She took the time to understand each family member’s unique interests and tailored an itinerary that perfectly balanced everyone’s wishes. Thanks to her thoughtful and accommodating approach, we had an unforgettable trip filled with cherished memories—Hannah truly went above and beyond!

Maggie S.: Italy & Croatia, Honeymoon

“Hannah was the best travel agent I have ever worked with. Her responsiveness, expertise, and excitement helped make our honeymoon so special. While the planning process was amazing, Hannah really impressed us most after our trip had already started. When we landed in Milan, we received an email that a train strike would occur in a few days and disrupt our travel plans. Within 24 hours of notifying Hannah, she had sent us three separate options with pricing and pros/cons to help us make an informed decision. Her attention to detail and passion for travel made her an absolute pleasure to work with. If you are considering working with her, have no hesitations. She is as good as it gets.”

    Shelby S: Hawaii, Honeymoon

“Would recommend working with Hannah! She is so kind and easy to work with! She truly took our interests and planned the best honeymoon for us! We are so lucky we found her!”

Linnea D.: Croatia & Montenegro, Couples Travel

“OMGGG HANNAH WAS AMAZING. My husband and I are beyond thankful that Hannah planned our trip to Croatia and Montenegro. She got to know us and our travel goals, what we like and don’t like, and planned a seamless trip for us. Her communication to us was awesome and I cannot wait to book another trip with her in the future. Use Hannah to plan your trip! You will not regret it! She was amazing!”

    • After hours of conversation and idea-sharing about possible destinations, we decided that our first international trip with a baby would be to Luxembourg. First, because she would get her passport as a now-dual-citizen, second we knew the journey would be (fairly) easy, and third because ancestry trips are becoming my most favorite way to travel🤗

We spent about a week touring (re-touring for me) the country and exploring my ancestral towns. Our itinerary included:
-a reasonable flight journey to Europe
-multiple nights in Luxembourg City exploring the architecture, history, food, and culture
-evenings sipping local wine processing our day (once baby was asleep)
-visiting the church my great great grandparents were baptized and married in
-spending a day with a local historian visiting one of my ancestral towns
-early mornings with espresso researching for family census records
-numerous cemetery visits
-a long European lunch with the most hospitable people
-learning about the local impact of WW2
-discovering the home my great great grandfather was born and raised in 🥺
-the pleasure of traveling with my favorite person (two of my favorite persons actually) 🥰

    • Maternity/parental leave the last few months with Adele (in 1 post) 💕 countless hours of ~ baby-wearing ~newborn cuddles ~and stroller walks, aspiring ukele genius, survival on girl scout cookies, miles of naptime walks, a first Mothers Day, U.P. nature and cabin time, lots of summer fun (Friends BBQ, date nights, basketball, wineries, and hosting the World Cup), and not pictured was irreplaceable time with family. Of course we had to sneak an international trip in as well! More on that to come😉

So grateful for the year 2026 💕

Maternity/parental leave the last few months with Adele (in 1 post) 💕 countless hours of ~ baby-wearing ~newborn cuddles ~and stroller walks, aspiring ukele genius, survival on girl scout cookies, miles of naptime walks, a first Mothers Day, U.P. nature and cabin time, lots of summer fun (Friends BBQ, date nights, basketball, wineries, and hosting the World Cup), and not pictured was irreplaceable time with family. Of course we had to sneak an international trip in as well! More on that to come😉

How has it been over a month already?! 🥺 on March 6, 2026 we welcomed Adele Celina Giles, named after 2 of her great grandmothers 💕 Life sure has changed, with all the diaper changes, interrupted sleep, AND so many newborn snuggles, lots of tummy time, meeting her big "brother" Simba, and hours of quality time with her grandparents. We feel like the luckiest parents 🥰

There were days last week that made winter feel close (at least in the northern Midwest!). You might be thinking about your travel plans for next summer, but don't overlook the possibility of traveling this winter. Here are a few reasons why winter is a great time to travel:

~Escape the gloomy weather at home
~You may find more unique travel experiences
~It can be a great time to explore the Southern Hemisphere
~You can stay home for your precious summers

There are other reasons to travel in the winter! If you want to take advantage of winter or spring break but aren't sure where to start, let me know! I'd love to help!

How to travel to Greece for less than $3000. It's definitely possible to travel to Greece and not break the bank. But you will have to be planful and thoughtful. Here are my main tips:

~Travel in the off- or shoulder-season (but you have to be careful about this since many islands close down in the off season - work with a travel advisor to assist you on this!)
~Stay in 3 or 4 star hotels/accommodation
~Travel with a friend (someone NOT in your household)
~Pick a few favorite excursions
~Plan ahead

If you want any help planning your Greece trip I would love to help you! DM me or follow the links in my bio for more information
